Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is a South African television and radio journalist and war reporter. She was a correspondent for CBS News between 2002 and 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually inaccurate and politically slanted report regarding the 2012 Benghazi attack "the most regrettable mistake of my 10-year-watch." In 2019, she joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media firm. In January of 2020 she joined Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service owned by Fox News. She stated she was "dumpedby the network in March 2022. Logan did her schooling as a reporter for the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) and then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she was hired by Reuters Television Africa, primarily as a senior producer. After four years she decided to venture into freelance journalism and was appointed as an editor/reporter, reporter and editor/producer for Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY and CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN reported on the events in Northern Ireland and Kosovo wars.
