Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was previously a presidential candidate and an anchor on television at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of the show The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball announced in May 2021 that they would be leaving the show to start their own project, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast along with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on various networks' programs, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball is engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball is adamant about her interest in politics and her experiences as a new mother during the primaries of 2008. She also watched the US presidential election from Jordan as she was working there. She was able to see the impact that it affected the people of Jordan and gained an appreciation for the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellowship of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 1st congressional District in 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 to July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She created the People's House Project in May 2017 to promote Democratic causes.
