Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political adviser who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. A member of the Democratic Party she has previously served in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant communications director (2009–2011), the spokesperson for the Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was an election contributor to CNN between 2017 and 2020. Psaki's career started in 2001 when she worked on behalf of the reelection campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrats running for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was then appointed as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also the communications director of Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to 2006. Psaki returned in 2012 to the field of political communications serving as press secretary for President Obama's 2012 election campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was named spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. The speculations that she would be replacing Jay Carney White House Press secretary after he left White House in the year 21 were fueled by her hiring by the Department of State.
